Custom Bathroom Vanities in Sudbury

Bathrooms are where stock cabinetry fails most obviously. The rooms are small, rarely square, and almost always have a window, a door swing or a plumbing stack in an inconvenient spot. A 36-inch vanity in a 41-inch space leaves you five inches of dead wall and nowhere to put anything.

We build vanities to the dimension your room actually is, in our own shop here in Sudbury.

Built for the space you have

Every vanity we make is cut to your measurements. That means we can work with the awkward cases — a narrow powder room, a sloped ceiling under a staircase, a wall interrupted by a window that sits lower than standard vanity height.

It also means we can set the height to suit you. Standard vanity height is a convention, not a rule. If you’d rather have counter height, or you’re designing for someone who needs it lower, we build it that way.

Our cabinets are built frameless, which in a small room is worth having — no face frame means the full interior width of the box is usable, and in a powder room every inch counts.

Storage that suits a bathroom

Bathroom storage is a different problem from kitchen storage. It’s a lot of small items and a few tall ones.

Options we build regularly:

  • Drawer banks instead of doors — far easier to actually use than a cabinet you have to kneel in front of
  • Full-depth top drawers notched around the plumbing, so the space under the sink isn’t wasted
  • Double-sink vanities with a shared drawer bank between, or a centre tower
  • Integrated hampers on a pull-out
  • Tall linen cabinets built to match the vanity
  • Floating vanities, wall-mounted for a lighter look and an easier floor to clean
  • Drawer interiors divided for the things that otherwise roll around

Soft-close hardware comes standard throughout — not an upgrade line on your quote.

Finishes

Our MDF doors are finished in our own spray booth, in a wide range of colours from the Benjamin Moore catalogue. We also offer stains across a range of wood species.

For a bathroom specifically, melamine is worth a look. The surface is inherently moisture-resistant and wipes clean, it comes in a broad selection of colours and textures, and it’s the practical choice in the one room in the house that gets steamed daily.

If you want a new vanity to sit alongside cabinetry you already have, bring us a sample. We’ll show you the closest options we carry and let you see them together — in a room with different lighting and a different-aged finish, that comparison is better made in person than promised in advance.

Matching an ensuite and a main bath

If you’re doing more than one bathroom, we’ll design them as a set — same door style and finish, different configurations for the different spaces. It reads as intentional rather than accumulated, and it’s more efficient to build the two together than separately a year apart.

The process

Same as any project with us: a free consultation with measurements, a preliminary drawing at no cost, then technical and 3D colour renderings before you commit to anything. You select finishes from physical samples in our showroom.

Once your vanity is built, we coordinate installation with you. Removal of the existing vanity is the homeowner’s responsibility — we ask that the space be cleared and the plumbing capped before we arrive.
