The kitchen is the room your household actually lives in. It’s where the mail piles up, where homework happens, where everyone ends up standing during a party regardless of how much seating you put elsewhere. A kitchen that works has been designed around that reality — not ordered from a catalogue and made to fit.
We design custom kitchens in our Sudbury showroom and fabricate them in our shop next door. Same building, same team, same address on Kelly Lake Road. That matters more than it sounds like it should: when your designer can walk twenty steps and ask the person cutting your cabinets a question, problems get solved before they become your problem.
Designed here, built here
We’re a manufacturer, not a reseller. Your cabinets are not ordered in from somewhere and marked up — they’re drawn in our design software, cut on our CNC router, edgebanded, assembled and finished in our own spray booth.
Practically, this means we can build to any dimension. Every part is cut specifically for your kitchen, so there’s no rounding up to the nearest stock width and no filler strips hiding the difference. If your wall runs 111 inches, you get 111 inches of cabinetry.
It also means a change is a conversation rather than a re-order. Adjusting a cabinet width, adding a drawer bank, changing a door style mid-design — these are things we can absorb because we control the whole process.
What custom actually gets you
Stock cabinetry comes in fixed increments and assumes a standard room. Most homes aren’t standard, and most people don’t cook the same way.
Custom means the storage gets designed around how you actually use the kitchen. Deep drawers instead of a base cabinet you have to crawl into. A pull-out beside the stove for oils and spices. Drawer dividers sized to your pans, not to a generic insert. An appliance garage if your counter is permanently occupied by a stand mixer and a coffee grinder.
Door styles and finishes
We produce several MDF door styles in-house, mostly shaker, which we finish in our own spray booth. Those are available in a wide range of colours from the Benjamin Moore catalogue.
Beyond painted MDF, you have:
- Stain options across a range of wood species, for anyone who wants the grain to show
- Melamine and laminate finishes in a broad range of colours and textures, including matte, soft-touch, gloss and woodgrain
If you’re renovating a kitchen but keeping millwork elsewhere in the house, bring us a door, a drawer front or an offcut. We’ll show you what we carry that sits closest to it and let you judge for yourself — grain, sheen and age all affect how two finishes read side by side, so this is a conversation to have with samples in hand rather than a promise to make over the phone.
Our showroom holds physical samples of everything we offer. Photos and screens lie about colour — you should be standing in a room holding the door before you commit.
Three ways to build the same kitchen
Not every kitchen needs the same specification, and budgets are real. We work in three material tiers so you can see exactly where the money goes:
- Essential — durable, cost-conscious panel materials in a range of colours and textures. A solid, hard-working kitchen.
- Signature — mid-range panels with matching door programs, plus crown moulding and light shield details. Painted MDF doors available.
- Prestige — premium panel lines with matching door programs, and a wider range of painted MDF finishes.
We’ll walk you through the differences with samples in hand and give you honest guidance about where an upgrade is worth it and where it isn’t.
Frameless construction
We build frameless. No face frame means the full interior width of the box is usable — noticeably more accessible storage out of the same footprint, and a cleaner, more contemporary look. It’s how our shop is set up and it’s what we do well.
How the process works
- Free consultation. We sit down with you — ideally in the showroom — and talk through your wishlist, how you use the space, and your budget. We take measurements.
- Preliminary drawing, at no cost. You get a first design back with no obligation and nothing to sign.
- 3D colour renderings. Before you commit, you see the room. Technical drawings plus 3D colour renderings, so you can test finish and material combinations while changes are still free.
- Finish selection. Back to the showroom with samples.
- Fabrication. Your cabinets are built here.
- Installation. We coordinate scheduling with you. Note that removal of your existing cabinetry is the homeowner’s responsibility — we just ask that the site be cleared and ready when we arrive.
Start your kitchen
Bring photos. Bring a Pinterest board. Bring a napkin sketch. The more we can see of what you’re picturing, the faster we get to a design that feels right.
